① Cost-effectiveness is the most prominent advantage of Zn-Al-Mg PV stents. One of their greatest strengths lies in their low price. In different regions, Zn-Al-Mg PV stents can be 800-1,600 RMB per ton cheaper than hot-dip galvanized PV stents (the price difference depends on the local cost of hot-dip galvanizing).

 

② Fast delivery cycle is another advantage of Zn-Al-Mg PV stents. After being folded, punched and processed in the PV stent factory, they can be used directly without secondary galvanization, which shortens the delivery cycle of PV stents.

 

③ Corrosion resistance: The Zn-Al-Mg coating has higher corrosion resistance than traditional galvanizing technology. In relatively harsh climates and environments, the electrochemical reaction rate of the Zn-Al-Mg coating is slower, and the formed corrosion products are more compact, thus effectively extending its service life. Tests show that in terms of salt spray corrosion resistance, the Zn-Al-Mg coating technology is more than 50% better than the traditional galvanizing technology, and can withstand a salt spray test for more than 1,000 hours.

 

④ Thermal stability: The Zn-Al-Mg coating has good thermal stability and can be used under high-temperature conditions. After a high-temperature steam cycle test, there is no obvious peeling of the Zn-Al-Mg coating, and the surface coating remains intact. This indicates that the Zn-Al-Mg coating technology is applicable to industries and fields with high-temperature environment requirements.

 

⑤ Electrophoretic coating flexibility: Compared with other anti-corrosion coatings, the Zn-Al-Mg coating technology can better achieve the flexibility of electrophoretic coatings. A purple conversion film is formed on the surface of the Al-Mg-Zn coating, which gives the coating better adhesion and durability.
